To promote tourism in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, National Geographic CreativeWorks sent National Geographic Photographer Michael George on an inspiring journey through Marquette, Copper Harbor, and Isle Royale National Park. His mission: to capture the diverse landscapes, culture, and unique local pride that make the region so special. The hero video saw tremendous success on YouTube, complemented by a custom microsite, Instagram Reels, IG Stories, articles, and more, across National Geographic’s digital and social platforms.
